1、
Hearthstone has recently been updated to bring some changes to Battlegrounds. Now players will be able to call upon the power of the Old Gods with three new heroes and 10 minions being added alongside a limited-time mechanic called Darkmoon prizes.

These prizes will be added to players' hands every four turns. As the match wears on players will be offered increasingly more powerful cards to make use of. Their effects will range from impactful buffs to changes that will last for the entire match.

It's also time to celebrate Winter Veil and players will be able to embark on a Legendary Quest chain that will net them 4 Madness at the Darkmoon Faire card packs. The quests will appear one at a time in players' Quest Log but will not override any of their existing missions.

Elsewhere, the Great Father will be dropping crates onto the battlefield with gifts on offer each time a player or their opponent destroys one. This will be part of the Gift Exchange Tavern Brawl and completing it will rewards players with the Winter Veil Treat card back. If they've already earned it, they'll receive a Classic card pack instead.
Animal Farm review - "Four legs good, two legs bad"
Similarly, there will be another quest called the Wacky Waxy Winter Veil Tavern Brawl. This will see players freeing the strongest creatures and Heroes in Azeroth who have been wrapped up by Greatfather Kobold. Doing so will net them a Classic card pack. This quest will start on December 23rd.

Finally, there will also be a login event where players will be able to get 500 Gold and 5 Madness at the Darkmoon Faire card packs between now and January 17th.

Hearthstone is available now over on the App Store and Google Play. It's a free-to-play game with in-app purchases.
Check out our list to see more of our favourite card games on iOS.

-
Last Chicken Games' Willy Jetman: Astromonkey's Revenge (or, as it's known on the App Store, Willy Jetman: Gravity Action), is a retro side-scrolling platformer inspired by 90s arcade shooters. It was originally supposed to land on mobile last week, but what appears to have been a fairly last-minute delay saw the launch pushed back to today.

This one first arrived on consoles and PC earlier this year, and it casts you as the adventurous Willy, who heads out to explore the inhospitable underground tunnels and hidden grottos of Gravos. As you might expect, he's in for quite the ordeal, with the planet being packed with traps and deadly lava.
Little Orpheus review - "A cinematic platformer with a seemingly inconceivable story"
Thankfully, you'll have a killer arsenal at your disposal with which to dispatch any and all enemies. Along the way, you can expect to encounter flying fish, giant wasps, stone giants, dragons, and more. They all have unique weaknesses to exploit, meaning a bit of experimentation can go a long way.
!

Those who caught Nintendo's final Super Smash Bros. Ultimate Direct yesterday are probably still revelling in the new information and epic new cinematic revealed. However, recent reports suggest that the fun might not be stopping there, Nintendo Fans, with Donkey Kong and The Legend of Zelda possibly on the mobile roster.

Yesterday Destructoid caught on to two trademark filings. One for Mario vs. Donkey Kong and one for Spirit Tracks (The Legend of Zelda's 2009 DS release). As mentioned on the source website, Japanese Nintendo, the trademark had been filed "for purposes including 'program for home video game machine', 'downloadable video game program' and 'program for smartphone'".

While we've had inklings and heard rumours about TLoZ making its way to mobile in the future, it'd be silly not to throw that one into the mix, but this is an interesting direction. More than anything, if the game is making the leap to mobile in some form, I'd rather it crop up as a high-quality, premium RPG. The same goes for the prospect of a Donkey Kong game, though I admit I'm not too versed in that area.

Don't get excited yet though, folks. This doesn't mean everything's set in stone by a long shot, so take it all with a big pinch of salt as always.

One thing that does make me curious follows on the back of the Direct yesterday. Since the trademark file was for a 'home video game machine' and 'program for smartphone', could this just be related to Super Smash Bros. Ultimate and the newly announced smartphone app launching for it? I hope not, but I've got to put the question out there.

We've had a think about what we'd like to see in both games. Here are the top 5 things we'd love to see in a mobile Zelda, and here are the top 5 things we'd love to see in mobile Donkey Kong.

What do you guys think?
