Who, young and simple, would not be so lovered?

Exit the Gungeon is a spin-off from the very popular Enter the Gungeon. There was a little confusion surrounding this game's inclusion on the Apple Arcade list with regards to whether it was a spin-off or not. It turns out that it's a spin-off that will debut on Apple Arcade, meaning it could come to other non-mobile platforms after. Whether or not this will be available immediately on launch isn't clear at the moment.

Despite being a spin-off, the game will take place immediately after the original game and will see the characters attempting to leave the dungeon. It has been described by Devolver as being a bullet hell dungeon climber. This is because to get out of the dungeon you'll need to go up.

Each character will have their own route they need to take to escape by taking a bunch of different elevators. Of course, the Gundead aren't going to take this lightly and will do absolutely everything in their power to stop you. As you can see from the trailer below this looks to set up a number of close quarters, tense battles as you fight the Gundead in extremely tight spaces with limited room to move.
Jurassic World Alive(Unlimited Energy)
A new Cartoon Network game based on its hit animated series Steven Universe is launching this Thursday for iOS and Android, called Attack the Light.

Steve Universe creator Rebecca Sugar and the show’s supervising director Ian Jones Quartey both played “instrumental” roles in the game’s development, according to Cartoon Network.

Attack the Light itself is described as a light action-RPG with turn-based battles and puzzles.

You’ll get to play as Garnet, Pearl, Amethyst, and Steven, each with unique Crystal Gem powers.

The game features voiceovers from cast members of the show.

No word yet on whether the game is free to play or premium, but in any case, it’ll be out this Thursday on the App Store, Google Play, and Amazon Appstore.

I've been burnt by this before - sure that Gabe Newell would be announcing the price of the HTC Vive Pre when he took the stage (by giant video screen) at Vision Summit only for him to announce everyone was getting a Vive - "his own personal Opera moment"

This time looks right though, I promise. Japanese blog media "S-Max" has posted an article about the HTC Vive Pre with an exclusive interview for HTC Japan's president Hiroshi Tamano.

If you're fortunate enough to speak the language, you can see the original post, but if not we've managed to translate some of the important quotes below

"When we asked about the plans for selling HTC Vive in Japan, we were told that they expect the reservation date, shipping date, product name etc. to be the same as the global launch""To start with, they'll sell it from the direct 'HTC e-shop' site, but plan to expand the places where you can buy it after that.""They said they'll announce the price at MWC. Nonetheless, they recognise that it won't sell if the price is excessively high, so they're going to set the price so that it's not unreasonable when compared to the competitor's products." It all looks pretty conclusive and seems to indicate the price won't be too high, potentially ruling Editor Mark Brown out of our Vive price sweepstakes.

Thanks to Reddit for pointing this out, and my friend Ed for retranslating the quotes to make sure I had the right idea.

And makes her absence valiant, not her might.

The Escapists games have achieved a decent bit of success over the years, through a smart combination of delightful pixel-art graphics and tough, considered gameplay focused around doing your own Shawshank and getting the hell out of prison.

The first game in the series landed on mobile in 2017, and now it's the turn of The Escapists 2 to come to smaller screens. It's expected to land under the name The Escapists 2: Pocket Breakout on January 31st simultaneously on Android and iOS for $6.99/£6.99.

As in the first title, you'll need to stick to prison rules, turning up for roll call and making sure you've not got any contraband on you when it's your turn for a random search. But all the while, you'll have to plan your escape, get your tools in place, and maybe even rough up some guards when you finally make a break for sweet, sweet freedom.
