Kicking Heroes(Test suit)Function introduction

Developer Toppluva's Grand Mountain Adventure has sped its way onto the App Store after launching first for Android last year. It's an impressive skiing and snowboarding title that currently offers 8 mountains to explore and master, over 100 challenges and trials to take on, and full support for game controllers.

With each mountain being its own self-contained open world, they each aim to serve up their own distinct challenges and extreme sports opportunities. The environments you'll find yourself in can be deadly, with wolves and bears roaming around the forest areas, rock falls requiring swift reaction times, and epic avalanches speeding towards you at a moment's notice.

It's been a little over two months since Desert Golfing started blowing minds with its sublime tedium.

If you've bought into the craze and still find yourself flicking away at golf balls across the game's vastly uneventful expanse, you might be interested in what one iOS developer was able to do with it.

Patrick Winchell, developer of Gyrorbital, used libimobiledevice and AVFoundation to create a massive panorama of the first 10,000 holes in Desert Golfing.

The result is a nearly hour long video panning across the ludicrous amount of levels, with the actual holes removed to give better focus on the slopes and angles of the game's terrain.

While Desert Golfing is known for its simplicity, it also has a few quirks that active players may want to avoid having spoiled.

Watch at your own risk.

A BLIND MAN was accustomed to distinguishing different animals by touching them with his hands. The whelp of a Wolf was brought him, with a request that he would feel it, and say what it was. He felt it, and being in doubt, said: "I do not quite know whether it is the cub of a Fox, or the whelp of a Wolf, but this I know full well. It would not be safe to admit him to the sheepfold."

Now, it will be heading for iOS devices on 1st April and that's no yolk. Ahem, sorry.

Even if you're unfamiliar with Bomb Chicken, it probably won't surprise you to know that it's a game where you play as a chicken that can lay bombs instead of eggs.
Nintendo is letting its fans have their say thanks to a big new update to the company’s website. Folks browsing for new games on Nintendo's official site can now read or leave reviews on their favorite game’s listing. The new feature isn’t live on all games just yet, but you can hand out stars to a few big names, including Breath of the Wild and Splatoon 2.

Nintendo makes it easy for opinionated players to leave their mark. You can choose from predetermined tags (Graphics, Family friendly, etc.) to describe the game’s quality or type up your own review before leaving a score based on a five-star system. All you need to leave a rating is a Nintendo account. Users also have the option to upvote reviews for helpfulness.

Is this a sign that Nintendo is opening up in terms of community features, or just a fun little extra? Tell us your thoughts in the comments.

Gameloft has rolled out a big update for the Silver Award-winning military shooter Modern Combat 5 today.

It's also available to download for free for a limited-time. So, if you haven't bought it already, you can save yourself £2.99 / $3.99 right now.

Now, on to that update, as there's a lot to cover here.

First off, there's a new Support class that can drop medical kits to heal allies, and boost their abilities. They can also have teammates spawn where they died (is that a good thing?).

Secondly, every class now has a new weapon tier. And with the Support class comes a completely new Light Machine Gun category.

Not stopping there, Gameloft has introduced a new multiplayer mode called Zone Control. It's like King of the Hill in that you have to capture and defend territories to earn score.

Getting to the end now, new controller support for what Gameloft is calling "standard, form-fitting or extended controller[s]" has been added.

Lastly, character customisation has been packed out with new weapon camos, masks and skills, solo and squad logos, and new kill signs.

As said, you can download Modern Combat 5 on the App Store for free right now.

It's also available on Google Play for £2.99 / $3.99. The update isn't available on Android yet but it should be coming soon.
