Software introduction

"It always amazes me to look at the little, wrinkled brown seeds and think of the rainbows in 'em," said Captain Jim. "When I ponder on them seeds I don't find it nowise hard to believe that we've got souls that'll live in other worlds. You couldn't hardly believe there was life in them tiny things, some no bigger than grains of dust, let alone color and scent, if you hadn't seen the miracle, could you?"The Quack Frog

If you're sold on the idea, go and download DUNGEONy for free on the App Store right now. Go on.
The scars of battle scapeth by the flight,

Storming her world with sorrow's wind and rain.francoiscourson-art.com"I'm giving Anne that half dozen braided rugs I have in the garret. I never supposed she'd want them--they're so old-fashioned, and nobody seems to want anything but hooked mats now. But she asked me for them--said she'd rather have them than anything else for her floors. They ARE pretty. I made them of the nicest rags, and braided them in stripes. It was such company these last few winters. And I'll make her enough blue plum preserve to stock her jam closet for a year. It seems real strange. Those blue plum trees hadn't even a blossom for three years, and I thought they might as well be cut down. And this last spring they were white, and such a crop of plums I never remember at Green Gables.""He has got a way with him." she reflected, as she cleared up the relics of the supper. "It is real queer he is not married, for a man like that could have anybody for the asking. Well, maybe he is like me, and has not met the right one yet."

The Salt Merchant and His Ass
Rocky Rampage: Wreck 'em Up is available now for Android in Early Access. It was previously known as Wonderpants: Rocky Rumble, and will see players destroying everything they can in their path.

You'll play as Boulder Cobblestone a large purple chap who is widely known – for some reason – for having a splendid undergarment collection. One day this gets rudely stolen from him by the Empire of Scissors, so he sets off on a journey to claim them back from their grasp.

You'll be able to roll and jump through the various enemies that will stand in your way. Whether that's minions, defenders or even just a castle, Boulder will be able to plough through most of it providing he's built up enough momentum. You'll start each level by being punted a fair distance by a warthog and then it's up to you to make it as far as you can.

Helping you along the way will be various creatures that can help increase the distance you'll travel. You'll be able to get a lift by hopping on the back of a dragon or bees that will give you energy. Energy is an important resource as once it depletes your run will be over. You can get more of it by successfully battering through folk or collecting some of those aforementioned bees.

If you got too long without rolling over an enemy or you hit one without having built up enough momentum your energy will deplete faster. So it acts like both your health bar as well as a timer. For a fairly recent game comparison it's a bit like a 2D version of Farm Punks, but with more destruction and a lot less fruit and veg.

Rocky Rampage is available now in Early Access through Google Play.
Nominate your Game of the Year for the Pocket Gamer People's Choice Award 2020.

Tom Clancy's Elite Squad has now soft-launched for Android over in the Philippines. This one's a turn-based strategy game that tasks you with assembling your very own crack team of Ubisoft's best-known characters, including the legendary Sam Fisher.

It was first revealed all the way back at E3 2019, and after a spell of relative silence, it was announced that the game would launch first for Android devices later this year. It was also made clear that it would roll out gradually across a number of regions.

Being the all-knowing soothsayer that I am, I correctly predicted back in February that Elite Squad would launch first in the Philippines. Just ignore the part where I also list New Zealand and Australia as possibilities.

The game itself looks decent enough, offering a stylised aesthetic that makes it stand out from the countless drab military shooters on the mobile market.
Works under you; and to your audit comes'"Among the many that mine eyes have seen,

We've known for a little while that HTC would be showing off a war-set first person shooter at Computex, but now that two videos have appeared online, we can confirm that it'll be set in WW2.

HTC's booth is set up with sandbags and a backdrop to resemble the in-game environment. This, combined with the way the HTC Vive works means that what you're seeing people do in real life is what their character is doing in VR.

Gameplay seems simple. Players bed down behind the sandbags, and hold off approaching enemies from different weapons. No word on exactly what weapons there will be, but there's clearly a Thompson in the on-screen footage.

You use the positional tracking of the Vive's hand controllers to hold your weapons, in addition to tossing grenades down the street.

At the end of game there's a brief logo flashing up for a developer, Fantahorn Studio, which seems to be the name of the internal developer.

From what you can see of the screen, before that stage the street gets completely torn apart in a hail of gunfire and explosions.

It's not clear at this point whether the game is destined for full release of if it is simply intended to be a tech demo as HTC experiment with what can be done but either way there's a good chance it'll show up on Steam at some stage.

Similarly it's unclear how deep the game goes - is this the sole level, or is there a series of levels of tower defence gameplay with you playing the role of human tower?

E3 is right around the corner, so if they've got anything else up their sleeve, we'll likely see it then. Hopefully we'll see it then. I love shooters.
The Piglet, the Sheep, and the Goat
